Transforming Lives Through Literacy

“Gothra Velicham” to Nilambur Tribal Children
True philanthropy knows no boundaries, and real leadership is defined by the distance one is willing to travel to make a difference.
This was in my mind when I decided to support educational aid to Children in a remote tribal hamlet, in Nilsmbur, Malappuram, Keralam.
Traveling all the way from Hyderabad to Nilambur, a remote tribal hamlet in the Malappuram district of Keralam, I personally stepped forward to sponsor and distribute crucial books and learning materials to tribal children, similar to that of last year.
The “Gothra Velicham” Initiative:
The distribution drive as organized under the leadership of the WMC Malappuram Chapter, was attended by tribal community leaders, local body councilors etc…
Appropriately titled “Gothra Velicham” (Light of the Tribe), the event aimed to ensure that every student residing in the Karulai Nedumkayam and Panamurayi tribal settlements received the essential educational tools they need to succeed.
The event was officially inaugurated by me ( Mr. Surendran Kannatt, ).
By ensuring these children have access to proper learning materials, this initiative isn’t just distributing books—it is igniting hope, empowering dreams, and building a bridge to a brighter future.
The successful execution of this noble drive saw active participation from dedicated leaders.
