Strategic Meeting Ahead of All India Mahila Federation Conference

We’re pleased to share highlights from a recent meeting that underscores the spirit of collaboration and community empowerment.
Smt. Srimathi Teacher, Former Health Minister and President of the All India Democratic Women’s Association, held a warm and constructive dialogue with Shri. Kannath Surendran, a distinguished Malayalee social worker based in Hyderabad. Shri. Surendran is a member of the Loka Kerala Sabha (LKS) and serves as the Global Vice Chairman of the World Malayalee Council (WMC).
Their discussion focused on two key initiatives:
All India Mahila Federation Conference
Scheduled for January 25th, 27th, and 28th in Hyderabad, this national conference will bring together voices from across India to champion women’s rights, social justice, and inclusive development. Both leaders emphasized the importance of grassroots participation and strategic planning to ensure the event’s success.
NORKA Health Insurance Scheme
The meeting also reviewed the progress of the NORKA Health Insurance Scheme, which aims to support Malayalee expatriates living in Hyderabad. Discussions centered on improving awareness, accessibility, and community engagement to maximize the scheme’s impact.
This meeting reflects a shared commitment to social welfare and diaspora support, setting the stage for meaningful outcomes in the months ahead.
