SUMMARY:Transforming Lives Through Literacy
DESCRIPTION:“Gothra Velicham” to Nilambur Tribal Children \nTrue philanthropy knows no boundaries\, and real leadership is defined by the distance one is willing to travel to make a difference. \nThis was in my mind when I decided to support educational aid to Children in a remote tribal hamlet\, in Nilsmbur\, Malappuram\, Keralam. \nTraveling all the way from Hyderabad to Nilambur\, a remote tribal hamlet in the Malappuram district of Keralam\, I personally stepped forward to sponsor and distribute crucial books and learning materials to tribal children\, similar to that of last year. \nThe “Gothra Velicham” Initiative: \nThe distribution drive as organized under the leadership of the WMC Malappuram Chapter\, was attended by tribal community leaders\, local body councilors etc… \nAppropriately titled “Gothra Velicham” (Light of the Tribe)\, the event aimed to ensure that every student residing in the Karulai Nedumkayam and Panamurayi tribal settlements received the essential educational tools they need to succeed. \nThe event was officially inaugurated by me ( Mr. Surendran Kannatt\, ).\nBy ensuring these children have access to proper learning materials\, this initiative isn’t just distributing books—it is igniting hope\, empowering dreams\, and building a bridge to a brighter future. \nThe successful execution of this noble drive saw active participation from dedicated leaders.\nMaterial Distribution: Mr. Padmakumar (WMC India Region President)\nEvent Chair: Dr. Joju Paulson (Malappuram Chapter Vice President)\nKey Speakers & Support: Secretary P.K. Danish\, Jithin Krishna\, O.M.A. Rasheed\, Councilor Rahna\, Forest Officer Deepu\, and Facilitator Sumija. Mr. Devadas Menon\, WMC province coordinator\, pointed out visiting this tribal community for evaluation and future academic support. \n\n \n\n \n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n \n\n	\n\n\nhttps://kannatts.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Transforming-Lives-Through-Literacy-Kannatt-Surendran_Video.mp4
